Working On

This year I am working on not jumping straight to the point in business meetings. There are some times when I am so focused on getting things done that I miss the bigger picture at play. The strategy and timing may imply something more than what is evident in the present moment. I intend to open up more personal and let the conversation flow more organically. I am actively seeking the balance between "task" and "relationship." Oftentimes the direct route is not so efficient.

In addition, I would like to start being more cognizant of the things I say "yes" to. Sometimes the situation may call for me to step up and say "no."

 

I need to stop doubting myself and using my age as a crutch. Instead, think "what would the successful version of myself do?" Be unafraid to share crazy ideas.
